The YMCA Aging Strong Program is designed to help older adults improve health outcomes, increase socialization and maintain independent living. Programming includes the Keys to Aging Well: Physical Activity, Connecting with Others, Mental Fitness, and Fall Prevention.

AGING STRONG IN THE Y  

The Aging Strong program is designed to help older adults improve health outcomes, increase socialization, and maintain independent living. The program is currently offered at several locations. 

AGING STRONG IN THE COMMNITY   

The YMCA Aging Strong is a health and fitness program partnering with  Senior Connections  to provide group fitness classes and testing for our senior population. 

LET THE Y COME TO YOU   

On-site Aging Strong programming is available from the YMCA of Greater Richmond. The Y is able to build a customizable program specific to your needs using programs within the Keys to Aging Well:

  • Physical Activity
  • Connecting with Others
  • Mental Fitness
  • Fall Prevention
